Redevelopment

Redevelopment of the public space around Kloosterpark in Monster, closely tied to the wider area development of this district. Advised on the sketch design and the spatial layout from an integrated view of the public realm, with structured coordination with the Strategy & Programming department so that the layout supports the area's spatial development goals, with climate-adaptive measures as the focal point. Involves external parties such as the developer and the neighbouring school in the design process, and directs the engineering team on the work preparation.

Converting a 50 km/h zone into a 30 km/h zone in connection with a new school zone near Parkzicht. Traffic-calming measures were applied, including raised junctions, speed humps and road markings. Guided in full from the initiation phase through to delivery.

Took over project management of a long-stalled, complete redevelopment of a 1980s residential precinct. Restored the confidence of a frustrated residents' committee after earlier promises had gone unmet, by drawing up a new design with a realistic timeline. Advised the municipal executive on releasing a preparation budget, partly on the basis of wider public tasks such as climate and housing; the result was the budget being granted and a satisfied residents' committee. Construction was placed elsewhere after handover.

Took over project management of a rainwater disconnection project with climate-adaptive measures: laying out WADI infiltration basins and green parking bays, and separating the foul water and rainwater systems. Surveyed the disconnection options for each home and guided the project through to delivery.
