Major sewer and road maintenance

Sewer replacement at the Teylingen West business park in 's-Gravenzande, from initiation through to construction. Assembled the project team and introduced a fixed meeting structure, after which the project was prepared as a whole and a complete project survey (permits, investigations and so on) was carried out. Directed a sharp, market-appropriate brief to the external engineering consultancy, weighed costs against risks in the choices made during preparation and construction, and kept in contact with utility companies and emergency services to prevent costly delays and additional work. Safeguarded the commercial interests of the surrounding businesses within the scope, with close attention to stakeholder management.

Sewer replacement and redevelopment of the Korte Kruisweg in Maasdijk, a busy residential street of roughly 600 m. From initiation through to partial delivery across the preparation and construction phases, and handover to asset management. Responsible for the project survey and for directing the project team along the same fixed meeting structure as at Teylingen West. Maintains contact with internal disciplines and external stakeholders such as utility companies and emergency services throughout construction. Used the BouwApp as the stakeholder management tool during the project.

Construction of a cycle path of roughly 500 m alongside a watercourse, including complete renewal of the bank revetment. Carried out in phases between two sports clubs to keep both accessible, from initiation through construction and handover. Part of the wider Parkzicht traffic improvement project.

Restoration of the historic footpaths around the fortification moats of Geertruidenberg. Guided the intensive coordination process between internal committees, the designer and suppliers towards a materials choice everyone supported. Worked the design up into a specification together with an engineering consultancy, ran the tender and guided part of the construction.

Project management for the improvement of a framework agreement for asphalt maintenance at the municipality of West-Betuwe. Took over communication with the client and the financial monitoring, and directed work planners and contract specialists.
