Site preparation and completion

Final completion of the public space beside an Arcade new-build development in Monster. Advised on the sketch design and the layout, coordinated with internal departments and external parties such as developers and schools, and planned the traffic measures. Directed the engineering team on the RAW specification and the accompanying drawings, and guided the tender. During construction, the point of contact for site management and supervision through to delivery and handover.

A full redevelopment around a new sports hall and a new school in Raamsdonksveer, as part of the wider area development of this district. Turned a vacant site into a well-finished public space, with all above-ground and underground infrastructure still to be installed. The works included green parking bays, bicycle shelters with sedum roofs and a gully-free rainwater drainage system with a WADI infiltration basin. The redevelopment of the public space was aligned with the construction of the sports hall and the school and with the surrounding spatial development. The project was divided up so that three contractors could work at the same time without complications, with the sports hall and the school accessible from delivery onwards.

Final completion of a new residential district in Geertruidenberg: replacing the sewer with a separated system, laying out green parking bays and a WADI infiltration basin. Acted as the point of contact for stakeholders during construction and resolved several unforeseen complications, including plot levels that deviated from the design, obstructive layers in the subsoil and other technical challenges, in consultation with the contractor, the neighbourhood and site management, without delaying the project.
